The Center for the Arts offers youth arts education programming through our Center Stage Academy (CSA).

CSA is committed to offering the utmost in ethical, technical, and artistic standards of excellence. All of our instructors are highly qualified teachers and performers, who strive to inspire and be outstanding role models for the children in our community.

Summer Classes

We desire all Center Stage Academy summer camps to allow students to build confidence, develop and deepen empathy, build collaborative and presentation skills, creative thinking, and friendships while receiving professional training and having FUN. Our goal is to create stronger people, not just better artists.

Elementary One Performers

Our Elementary One Performers program is a creative drama experience, using play to teach the basics of being onstage. Our K-2 students can expect games, songs, creative movement, dance, and performance basics culminating in an end of camp showcase.

Middle School Performers

Our Middle School Performers program is a two-week camp for everyone from beginners to advanced performers. Building on the foundations of theatrical performance through daily classes in acting, music/voice, movement/dance and a theatrical production, our 6-8 grade students can expect games, character creation and analysis, choreography, and performance coaching. Our middle school students will come away with a full production experience and a final performance of a children’s classic.

High School Performers Camp

Our High School Performers program is a two-week camp for everyone from beginners to advanced performers. Our goal is developing and enhancing theatrical performance through daily classes in acting, music/voice, movement/dance and a theatrical production. Our 9-11 grade students can expect games, character creation and analysis, choreography, voice & speech training, and performance coaching. Our High School Performers program will culminate with a full production of a musical theatre classic.

Elementary Two Performers

Our Elementary Two Performers program is a one-week camp focused on the foundations of theatrical performance through daily classes in acting, music/voice, movement/dance and the theatrical production process. Our 3-5 grade students can expect games, character creation, choreography, and foundational acting basics with a final performance of a children’s classic.

Middle School Tech

Our Middle School Tech program is designed specifically for 6-8 grade creatives who want to be behind the scenes in the production process. Students will learn the basics of theatrical design and stage management through hands on projects highlighted onstage. Students serve as the technical crew for the final performance of our Middle School Performers program.

High School Tech Camp

Our High School Tech program is designed specifically for 9-11 grade creatives who want to be behind the scenes in the production process. Students will learn the basics of theatrical design and stage management through hands on projects highlighted onstage. Students serve as the technical crew for the final performance of our High School Performers program.

Visual Art Camp

Visual Arts program is designed for 3-5 grade students looking to enhance their creativity. This one-week intensive will give students an opportunity to explore the basics of visual art and create multiple take home pieces. Each student’s work will be highlighted in a week long gallery display and celebrated with a reception open to family and friends.
