About The Center For THe Arts
The Center for the Arts, established in 1995 in a historic 1909 building, is dedicated to enhancing community life through cultural and economic enrichment via the arts. Initially supported by local government funds, we became a nonprofit in 2008, now funded by public donations and grants, including from the Tennessee Arts Commission. Our offerings include theatrical productions, visual art exhibitions, concerts, dance performances, and educational programs.
