The Center for the Arts is a private 501 ( C )3 organization and is not supported by your tax dollars. While part of our support comes from various grants and foundations, the vast majority of our support comes from you, our patrons and sponsors! We thank you for your patronage and support. All of the work we do here at the CFTA would not be possible without your involvement and that of our community and our volunteers; to you we extend our sincerest thanks.
The Center for the Arts has joined with the Christy-Houston Foundation in 2009 to raise money for much needed renovations and improvements, such as heating and air, new carpeting and such. Any donation to the Center is matched 100% by the Christy-Houston Foundation. If you give us $1.00, we get $2.00 its that simple.
